Welcome to twtapps! Our first simple twitter app was twtcard, a simple greeting card twitter app, and it was so much fun to develop it and to see how people used it, that I decided to make a list of other simple apps I could work on. And twtpoll was born.

The fact that we were featured on TechCrunch literally hours after the site was launch helped give it a jump start. From there, we’ve been receiving a lot positive feedback, suggestions, requests… The tweeple love it! We’ve crossed the 1,000 polls mark in 5 days (I’ll get the full stats when we turn 1 week old on Friday.)

So, now we’re launching twtapps to aggregate all of our simple twitter apps to come.

Our newest one is twtvite, a simple event planner twitter app. You can create a tweetup, invite your tweeple, and manage RSVPs. No password required. And you can share it on facebook or via email too. You can also embed our widget to your blog. I hope you will enjoy it and start getting to know your followers and your local twitter community a little better! We’re excited to hear what you all think about it. Just tweet us!
