Many of our users who host Tweetups every month have been asking for an easier way to duplicate the previous Tweetup information for the following month.
On Twtvite, you can now copy any of your previous Tweetup and create a new one based on it. Check it out below:
(2) You can either go to a Tweetup for which you’re an organizers or to your “My Tweetups.” You will notice a new button/link (Copy.) Simply click on it and we’ll copy that Tweetup’s information. Now you can modify it and easily schedule a new Tweetup!
As always, thank you all very much for the feedback!
Looking for a way to engage your customers on social media? How about creating a Twitter Contest? TwtAway helps you create online giveaways via Twitter.
It’s a very simple application: you enter the description about what you’re giving away, set a date/time for the contest to be over, and start inviting your followers to participate. In order to participate, they have to tweet the link to your contest, inviting even more people to participate.
Whatever you choose to giveaway: your product/service or something, you will get a few side effects from doing so:
1) Acquire new followers. Even tough, it’s not required to follow whoever is running the contest, most people do. We designed the application to encourage people to do so.
2) People will learn more about what you do. We display the summary of the Twitter account running the contest below, however if you choose to brand your TwtAway, you will get an even greater exposure.
Thousands of people have used Twtvite over the pas 10 months to connect with their followers beyond 140 chars. From regular monthly get together to Conference parties, Twitters are organizing Tweetups more and more.
Every month there are hundreds of Tweetups around the world on Twtvite and it is definitely the best solution to help you manage and organize your event. We don’t take all the credit for it. We’re very thankful to our awesome users who helped us shape this product!
We’re constantly adding new features. You can see our quick demo video for a run through the main functionalities and a help for people who have never used our application.
And here are some of the highlights:
You don’t have to be on Twitter to RSVP. Most people who use Twtvite do have a Twitter account, however we don’t want to leave anybody out. So, if you don’t have a Twitter account, simply use your name + email address.
Multiple organizers + Sponsorships. Most events are organized by more than one person. You can list as many organizers as you want. You can also highlight your sponsors/partners so they keep supporting your events.
Photo gallery. We automatically get all photos from TwitPic, TweetPhoto and YFrog using the event #hashtag and build a photo gallery.
Integration with Twtpoll. You can now embed a Twtpoll to your Twtvite.
Twtvite Alerts. We send @replies reminders to everyone who RSVPs to an event 1 week and 1 day before it. It works not only as a reminder to attend the event, but also as a reminder to invite and tweet more about it.
Tweets Search. Often times people link to your event using shorturls services such as bit.ly, tinyurl. We can now find those tweets and display them in your events page.
We’re constantly making small changes and improvements to Twtpoll (and our other Twtapps), so you might notice different things every now and then. Here’s a list of the latest small changes:
Search
We used to have a tab for “My Twtpolls” where you could search for polls created by a Twitter users. Now you can use the regular search bar. If you search for “twtpoll” you will find the polls with the term in the question. If you search for “@twtpoll” you will find all of the polls created by that @user.
Poll details
When you search or browse through the latest/most popular polls, you can see how many votes they’ve had, number of comments and number of Tweets.
Tweets Search
Last but not least, we have improved our tweets search to include shorturl links to your Twtpolls. Often times, people use shorturl services such as bit.ly, tinyurl, etc to link to your polls. Some of these tweets get RT and we didn’t use to register them as Tweets. Now we do. :)
Stay tuned for more updates. As always, we really appreciate all the feedback and we thank very much our users who take the time to write to us with suggestions/comments.

We’re offering FREE branding to your Twtvite! Just create a Tweetup and let us know about it!
Twtvite releases today the option to embed a Twtpoll directly on your Twtvite. Many people have been using Twtpoll to decide what dates/venues they should use for their Tweetup, as well as the reason why they’re coming and what they thought about it.
In order to include a Twtpoll, you must be an organizer of the Tweetup and sign in to Twtvite using your Twitter credentials (via oAuth).
After you’re signed in, you can just go to your Twtvite page (a quick way to get there is by clicking on “My Twtvite”, which will display all upcoming Tweetups you’re organizing and/or have RSVP’ed.
Once on your Tweetup’s page, you will notice that you have direct links to edit it, update RSVPs, or cancel it.
In order to include a Twtpoll, you will see on the right side on the page (below the list of RSVPs) a place to include the URL to your Twtpoll (not the embed code - just the URL: http://twtpoll.com/code). This is also where the Twtpoll will show up.
Over the past year, we’ve been experimenting with several ways to use Twitter. Some of our apps were well received, some others not so much. In the past few months, we’ve been restructuring to focus on the business usage of Twitter as a communication and marketing platform. Therefore we will be shutting down four of our least performing apps on Friday (Nov 27)
Please don’t read between the lines. Our other apps are doing very well and they’re not going anywhere. This will free us up to keep improving on these apps, so expect more features and a better integration between them.
So, the Twtapps that we’ll be shutting down on Friday are:
TwtBiz: Twitter Business Directory. There are many well built Twitter directories out there and we see no need to maintain this one as it is.
TwtWlst: Twitter Registry Gift. We believe the general idea still has some potential, however it’s not one of our focus at the moment.
TwtPets: Game for pet lovers. Who doesn’t like pets, uh? We’ve enjoyed seeing all the Twitter Pets out there, however this is not an app in line with or current focus either.
TwtCard: Twitter Greeting Card. This was our very first app. It was a fun little project that got us started thinking about other ways Twitter could be used for.
We’d like to thank everyone who have used these apps and have taken the time to contact us with comments/suggestions. We really appreciated it!

Twtpoll is a simple and powerful tool to create online polls and share them on Twitter/Facebook. Many businesses and blogers have been using Twtpoll to get feedback about their products/services or about a particular subject.
Twtpoll has now released TwtSurvey, which allows you to create public or private online surveys. You can choose from 17 types of questions and add some demographic questions, which you can then filter the results.
